*For the treatment of Congestive Heart Failure, then the usual starting dose is 100 milligrams daily. *For the treatment of High Blood Pressure, then the usual starting dose is 50 milligrams to 100 milligrams.

*This product is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. *It is also used to treat swelling/water retention, severe liver disease, or severe kidney disease.
